Compliance jako výzva i příležitost

Ve dnech 8.–13. června 2025 se tři zástupci VŠCHT Praha zúčastnili školení pořádaného v rámci projektu 101179706 – Erasmus+ CBHE – EUComplianceM4UA. Akce se konala v Lublinu (Polsko) za účasti všech partnerů projektu z evropských i ukrajinských institucí. Cílem projektu je podpora rozvoje výuky a vytvoření studijních programů v oblasti Compliance managementu na univerzitách na Ukrajině.

Během školení se představitelé evropských univerzit podělili o své zkušenosti s výukou předmětů zaměřených na compliance – včetně konkrétních přístupů, didaktických metod a případových studií. Program byl doplněn o interaktivní prvky, jako jsou výukové aktivity, sebehodnoticí dotazníky nebo diskusní bloky.

Za VŠCHT Praha vystoupil Jan Vašek, Ph.D.,  který se ve svém příspěvku zaměřil na praktický způsob výuky. Svoji přednášku zahájil jednoduchou, ale výmluvnou případovou studií o zneužití zadních vrátek v IT systému, která studenty okamžitě vtáhne do tématu bez nutnosti předchozích teoretických znalostí. Následně demonstroval výukový postup, který kombinuje samostatnou analýzu studentů, strukturované zavedení klíčových konceptů a okamžité praktické uplatnění znalostí. Zdůraznil důležitost práce s pozorností studentů a využívání reálných příkladů, anekdot a interaktivních prvků, které podporují hlubší porozumění i zapamatování látky.

V pátek pak účastníci u kulatého stolu shrnuli hlavní výstupy a dohodli se na dalších krocích projektu.

Between June 8–13, 2025, three representatives from the University of Chemistry and Technology, UCT Prague, took part in a training event organized within the framework of the project 101179706 – Erasmus+ CBHE – EUComplianceM4UA. The event took place in Lublin, Poland, with participation from all project partners representing both European and Ukrainian institutions. The aim of the project is to support the development of education and the creation of study programs in the field of Compliance Management at universities in Ukraine.

During the training, representatives of European universities shared their experiences with teaching subjects focused on compliance – including specific approaches, didactic methods, and case studies. The program also included interactive elements such as educational activities, self-assessment questionnaires, and discussion sessions.

Representing UCT Prague, Jan Vašek, Ph.D., gave a presentation focused on a practical approach to teaching. He began his lecture with a simple yet striking case study about the misuse of backdoors in an IT system – an example that draws students into the topic without requiring prior theoretical knowledge. He then demonstrated a teaching method that combines independent student analysis, structured introduction of key concepts, and immediate practical application of knowledge. He emphasized the importance of capturing students' attention and using real-life examples, anecdotes, and interactive elements to foster deeper understanding and retention of the subject matter.

On Friday, the participants gathered for a roundtable discussion to summarize the main outcomes and agree on the next steps for the project.
