Stipendia Miroslava Vlčka udělena
Konsorcium Study in Prague včera slavnostně udělilo Mimořádná stipendia Miroslava Vlčka za přínos k internacionalizaci pražských veřejných vysokých škol a vysokého školství v České republice.
Mimořádné stipendium Miroslava Vlčka je formou uctění památky profesora Miroslava Vlčka – duchovního otce myšlenky a koordinátora konsorcia Study in Prague (2015–2019), které sdružuje sedm pražských veřejných vysokých škol a které přivedlo stovky zahraničních studentů ke studiu v Praze.
Každá univerzita udělila stipendium jednomu pečlivě vybranému studentovi. Na VŠCHT Praha byla vybrána Megan Ashley McComb z Ústavu ekonomiky a managementu.
Megan je v současné době studentkou prvního ročníku magisterského studia. Od začátku svého bakalářského studia v roce 2021 se Megan aktivně účastní mezinárodních akcí, které propagují VŠCHT Praha, jako jsou International Open Days, Counselor Tours pořádané konsorciem Study in Prague nebo studijní veletrhy na mezinárodních školách v Praze.
Od roku 2022 Megan v rámci stáže pracuje jako Admission Representative na studijním oddělení Ústavu ekonomiky a managementu. V rámci této pozice kromě podpory uchazečů během celého přijímacího řízení spolupracuje přímo se studentskými agenturami a středními školami v různých částech světa, nabízí studijní poradenství pro budoucí studenty a asistuje při organizaci přijímacích aktivit v severní, střední a jižní Americe.
V současné době se Megan aktivně podílí na založení mezinárodní pobočky Business Club, studentské organizace Ústavu ekonomiky a managementu s cílem vybudovat silnou komunitu na podporu zahraničních studentů a zároveň jim pomáhat rozvíjet se profesně i osobně.
Jsme velmi hrdí, že je Megan studentkou naší univerzity, a velmi si vážíme jejího zapojení a obětavosti!
Miroslav Vlček Extraordinary Scholarships awarded
Megan Ashley McComb, a student of the School of Business UCT Prague, was awarded by the Study in Prague consortium.
The Consortium Study in Prague ceremoniously awarded the Miroslav Vlček Extraordinary Scholarships yesterday.
The Miroslav Vlček Extraordinary Scholarship serves as a tribute to the memory of Professor Miroslav Vlček, the spiritual father of the idea and coordinator of the Study in Prague consortium (2015–2019), which brings together seven public universities in Prague and has attracted hundreds of international students to study in the city.
Each university granted a scholarship to one student. At the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (VŠCHT Praha), Megan Ashley McComb was chosen.
Megan is currently a first-year master's student at the School of Business UCT Prague. Since the beginning of her bachelor's studies in 2021, Megan has actively participated in international events promoting UCT Prague, such as an International Open Days, Counselor Tours organized by the Study in Prague consortium, and study fairs at international schools in Prague.
Since 2022, Megan works as an admission representative during her internship at the School of Business UCT Prague. In this role, she not only supports applicants throughout the entire admission process but also collaborates directly with student agencies and high schools in various parts of the world. Megan provides study guidance to prospective students and assists in organizing admission activities in North, Central, and South America.
Currently, Megan is actively involved in establishing the international branch of the Business Club, a student organization at the School of Business UCT Prague. The aim is to build a strong community to support international students and help them develop professionally and personally.
We are very proud to have Megan as a student at our university and greatly appreciate her dedication and contributions!
