Spolupracujeme s Copperbelt University v Kitwe

V rámci projektu „2i - Innovation, implementation: Strenghthening professional capacities in Zambia in the field of sustainable economic development and supporting circular economy" financovaného z prostředků České rozvojové agentury (CzechAid), se uskutečnila řada významných jednání. Doc. Lenka Švecová z Ústavu ekonomiky a managementu a prof. Vladimír Kočí z Ústavu udržitelnosti a produktové ekologie měli také příležitost přednášet studentům na School of Business při Copperbelt University v Kitwe, kde se zaměřili na klíčová témata podnikání, inovace a udržitelný rozvoj.

Projekt zaměřený na podporu zvýšení kvality univerzitního vzdělávání, vědy a výzkumu v Zambii nyní nabírá na obrátkách. Tento projekt, zahrnující bilaterální vztahy mezi Českou republikou a Zambií a podporu zambijských rozvojových priorit, zejména 8NDP podle Zambijské Vize 2030, se rozvíjí prostřednictvím úzké spolupráce mezi ÚEM VŠCHT Praha a School of Business Copperbelt University.

První navázání vztahů proběhlo na základě dvoustranné komunikace mezi Ústavem ekonomiky a managementu VŠCHT Praha a School of Business Copperbelt University, jež vyjádřila zájem o spolupráci v oblasti vysokoškolského vzdělávání a dlouhodobé pedagogické a vědecko-výzkumné spolupráce. Projekt si klade za cíl nejen vzájemnou výměnu zkušeností a metodik v akademické, pedagogické, vědecké a publikační sféře, ale i implementaci inovačních prvků do vzdělávacích programů.

Spolupráce s partnerskou univerzitou a dalšími subjekty, včetně českého zastupitelského úřadu v Zambii a Caritas.cz v Zambii, zahrnuje budování dalších kontaktů s cílem připravit půdu pro budoucí propojení s ekonomickým sektorem.                                                              

Collaboration with Copperbelt University in Kitwe to Strengthen Educational and Research Partnerships

Within the project "2i - Innovation, Implementation: Strengthening professional capacities in Zambia in the field of sustainable economic development and supporting circular economy" funded by the CzechAid, several significant meetings have taken place. Assoc. Prof. Lenka Švecová from the School of Business UCT Prague and Prof. Vladimír Kočí from the Institute of Sustainability and Product Ecology also had the opportunity to lecture students at the School of Business at Copperbelt University in Kitwe, focusing on key topics of business, innovation, and sustainable development.

The project aimed at enhancing the quality of university education, science, and research in Zambia is gaining momentum. This initiative, fostering bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Zambia and supporting Zambian development priorities, especially the 8NDP under the Zambian Vision 2030, is evolving through close collaboration between the School of Business UCT Prague and the School of Business at Copperbelt University.

Initial steps towards establishing these relationships were facilitated through bilateral communication expressing mutual interest in cooperation in higher education and long-term pedagogical and scientific research collaboration. The project aims not only for mutual exchange of experiences and methodologies in academic, pedagogical, scientific, and publication domains but also for the integration of innovative elements into educational programs.

Collaboration with partner universities and other entities, including the Czech Embassy in Zambia and Caritas.cz in Zambia, involves building further connections to pave the way for future linkages with the economic sector.
